Cervino have won a contract with Scandinavian Airlines to manage the A350 eOps project. The task is to integrate the A350’s digital onboard systems to the SAS Ground, CAMO and Part 145 systems and processes. The work for Entry Into Service (EIS) is ongoing and prior to the EIS several Project activities must be completed.

SAS has ordered 8 Airbus A350XWB (A350-900) aircraft.  The A350 XWB is an aircraft with the possibility to be integrated with the airline ground IT-infrastructure and exchange data, and contribute to a more efficient operation. This is called electronic operation or e-operation. Airbus defines e-operations as the capacity for airlines to integrate the aircraft onboard systems with their operations and IT infrastructure on-ground (e.g. Aircraft maintenance operations, flight & cabin operations). E-operations is the use of digital information in Aircraft operations, supported electronically.
